2. What I collect, why, and my legal basis

3. Site addresses and information about other people
A site address can identify the person who owns it. Please send me only information you are entitled to share. I use it only to assess the site and advise you.
4. Who I share it with
I share information only where needed, with:
- the companies that run this website, its database and its domain, including Lovable and GoDaddy
- Google, for analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies
- my email and file storage providers
- my accountant and professional advisers
- councils, the Planning Inspectorate or other bodies, only when you instruct me to make a submission
- regulators or the courts, if the law requires it
These providers act on my instructions or under their own legal duties.
5. Transfers outside the UK
Some providers may handle information outside the UK. Where they do, I rely on the safeguards UK law accepts, such as a UK adequacy decision or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
6. How long I keep it
- Enquiries that do not go ahead: 24 months from the last contact
- Client records: 6 years after the work ends
- Analytics data: for the period set in my analytics account, which I review each year
After that I delete or anonymise it, unless the law requires me to keep it.
7. Cookies
The site uses a small cookie to remember your cookie choice. This does not need consent. Analytics cookies are off until you accept them. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer.
8. Your rights
You can ask me to:
- give you a copy of your information
- correct anything wrong
- delete it
- restrict how I use it
- move it to another provider
- stop using it where I rely on legitimate interests
- withdraw consent at any time, where I rely on consent

I use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No online service is completely secure, so please do not send anything you would not want to risk exposing.

This site may link to other websites, such as my LinkedIn profile. They have their own privacy policies and I am not responsible for them.
